Call for talks, symposia and registration.
This is a notice about the 66th Entomological Society of NZ’s annual conference, which will be held over 19-21 April 2017, at Victoria University of Wellington.

- We are calling for Symposia ideas and speakers. If you have a Symposium idea and some enthusiastic speakers, please e-mail Phil Sirvid (PhilS@tepapa.govt.nz) or Phil Lester (Phil.Lester@vuw.ac.nz). We will have one symposia on Social Wasps on Friday the 21st April.
- Invited speakers include: Ruud Kleinpaste the world famous “Bug Man”; Lou Gallagher & Richard Hall talking about MPI’s “The New Zealand Bee Pathogen Programme”; Peter Dearden from the University of Otago, talking about emerging genetic tools for pest control; Frank Lindsay (president of the Wellington Beekeepers Association); and George Gibbs on the new edition “Ghosts of Gondwana: The History of Life in New Zealand”.
