Richard C. Russell Professor of Medical Entomology at the University of Sydney and Director of the Department of Medical Entomology at Westmead Hospital is retiring in July 2012.
Richard and his Westmead team have been able to create a new Senior Scientist position in Medical Entomology to enable the laboratory to continue as the designated NSW and de facto National Reference Laboratory for Medical Entomology.
