The Australasian Animal Behaviour conference in Narrabri after Easter this year.
The conference will include a trip to the Pilliga scrub, where we will be birding and looking for reptiles as well as visiting the sandstone caves (an aboriginal archaeological site ) with local aboriginal guides . The dinner will include presentations by the local Gamilaroi people. The website lists keynote speakers and other details. The conference will include presentations from pure and applied research, as well as conservational behavioural ecology.

A postdoctoral position is available to participate in an NSF-funded Planetary Biodiversity Inventory (PBI) project on the parasitoid wasps of the superfamily Platygastroidea. The goals of this project are to work on the basic systematics of a major group of these wasps and to undertake a comprehensive phylogenetic analysis of the superfamily.
