Education Committee
About the Committee
The committee provides advice on all matters that relate to entomological education in Australia. The main focus is on tertiary-level study including both undergraduate and postgraduate education, although contributions may be made at the secondary level so as to encourage more school leavers to pursue a career in fields related to entomology.
The Committee has been closely associated with the Entomology Curriculum Australia (ECA) whose aim is to promote tertiary-level entomological education in Australia using a collaborative approach among teaching institutions.
The Committee presents an annual report to the Society Executive at the Annual General Meeting.
